The hope is that at least when my girls hear these stories they will better discover why it is important to aid and donate to non-profit organizations. Even better would be for these stories to inspire ideas about how exactly my daughters could start non-profit organizations.

Since when kids notice stories of additional kids making a new difference, it could be empowering. That breaks through emotional barriers that point out kids are also young to generate change, kids seldom have enough knowledge, enough expertise.

Therefore share these tales with your own kids – watch them be wowed by what other kids have achieved and enable that to be an inspiration for how they you can help in your own communities and the world.
